Meet the kind and talented Hayley Learnard in this week's Member Spotlight! She works for the same company as Brady, who we featured in our last spotlight. Read on to learn more about where she fits in with Cybernautic, and her inspiring personal work!
Q: What is your role at Cybernautic?
A: I am a project manager which means I oversee the design and development of all the websites we create for our clients. Since we are a custom design company, we start our process by meeting with a new client to learn everything about their organization. Once our client falls in love with the design, I then oversee the development of the website. All of our websites are built in-house by our developers and connected to our proprietary content management system called the editor. Once the website is built, I train our clients on using the editor, updating content and preparing for the launch of their new site.
Q: What makes you love what you do?
A: Our clients range from local plumbers, to non-profits, to international furniture companies, so it creates lots of diversity for the type of work we get to do. I love seeing clients get fired up when discussing their mission/purpose and how they react when they see the beautiful sites we create for them. It is truly one of the most inspiring things when you get to work alongside organizations that are passionate about what they do!
Q: How else do you use Lodgic?
A: Sometimes after I am done with my work for the day, I stick around to work on my blog, Monroe’s Momma, that I launched recently. Writing has become a hobby of mine after losing our two day old daughter last year. This outlet has given me a way to process my grief and connect with other loss moms and people going through trying times. You can read more of her story and other posts here! Q: If I could make a rule for a day and everyone had to follow it, what would it be?
A: The rule would be that everyone has to turn off all of their technology for a day and just enjoy being in the present away from screens. Technology serves great purposes but it can be such a distraction from our family and friends sometimes! (Totally guilty of this.)
Q: What do you like most about Lodgic?
A: There is so much to love about Lodgic! I love the beautiful design of the space – it keeps me inspired and motivated. I love the welcoming staff members who always greet us with a smile. And who doesn’t love a place that has free, endless coffee?!
